I have wanted a MX Blue (Or mx blue copy) keyboard for quite some time. I use my G710+ (Mx Browns) At work and i love it.
Any users here that have used both Blue switches and Topre ? Torn between keyboards for my home gaming PC.

BuildTestRepeatI've used both, but only for typing. I think the Topre and Cherry MX Brown switches are more comparable because there is no click with Topres, and the weighting for both Browns and most Topre switches are 45g. Topre switches are very smooth, and bottoming out feels very solid, and yet muted, like pressing a key on an electric keyboard. Once I got used to the difference in typing experience, I could type faster on a 45g Topre board than on the Cherry MX Brown board.
Because the actuation point on the Topre switches are at the top, followed by the collapse of the rubber dome, rather than somewhere in the mid-point of the keypress, I hear that Topre keyboards are not as good for gaming because you can't spam a key as quickly. Also, I don't believe these have N-key rollover. Although since I don't game, I don't know for certain.
Overall, I would say that Topre is the premium board for typing.

BuildTestRepeatTake your 710+ home for gaming, and get a Topre for work. I've owned both a 710+ and Topre Type Heaven, both are good for gaming imo, i prefer the Topre, because it's softer on my fingers, but for gaming it is a draw, i am usually smashing keys anyway. I can play without fatigue on Topre where as Browns my fingers were aching. For typing all day Topre wins hands down to me. As far as Blue switches, i wouldn't use them at work, they are annoyingly loud, unless you have no one to bother. And for gaming they are not recommended by most people really. I however am not someone to really talk of blues, because i think they are horrible. Almost no one recommends them for gaming though.

MTKMKIThe only think holding me back with using the topre keyboard at work is i love my macro buttons. I use them like crazy. Actually 6 buttons with 3 profiles isn't enough haha!

BuildTestRepeatI bought a 710+ exactly because i wanted to start using macros more. This board is fully programmable, so if you get the 104key you can use all those keys for macros if you don't use numpad all the f keys scrol pause ect., all saved on the keyboard! So good.
