View Full Discussion Alright, just finished writing up the review on this before the group buy ends, hope it helps some of you deciding whether or not they should buy this
Nice job! Did you have to case mod or dremel the case to show the USB?
didn't have to do anything, you just need to solder on the jack and remove the existing cable, cutout's already there and the fixed cable can also be removed without damaging it (pretty easy, since it's the same as sleeving a PSU cable, bend plastic a little bit so the wires can slide out, remove rubber spacer, remove cable by sliding the exposed wires thought the USB port and put the cable back together in case you'll ever need it, or don't, I don't judge)
Very well done mate, this is another perfect example for me this page could need a "wiki"/database for further redrops in the future, linked at the description page. So much good stuff hidden in the discussion pages of drops, and most people don't have the time or will to look/search for it a couple of month later at redrop number xxx. Of course i know a smart search isn't given at all :(
oh yeah, I've suggested adding a picture library to the discussions once and it was forwarded apparently, but nothing ever happened to it as of now.
Although there IS a review wiki on r/mk it's rather useless as it's mostly faster to use the search bar and type in '[Keyboardname] review' which usually yields better results as well, but I shouldn't be talking since I'm just as bad by not adding my reviews/teardowns there
The Led on the Pause key seems to light up when you program the keyboard, at least that M letter on the does suggest that.
didn't notice it, didn't make any change when programming, it's just kind of in your way imo
