I just got mine today, and no issues. Appears to be working rather well. The brown greentech switches are exactly what I was expecting, with a nice slightly tactile feel. I'm using the board on a Linux box (Linux Mint 17.2), via USB2.0. I'm not seeing any strange key repeat issues, nor am I seeing and bad keys. Fellow Canadians, I was dinged $22.06 from customs. Might have been bad luck, might be the norm. I find it hit and miss myself.
£15 from customs in the UK (8 was the post office handling charge) but I wasn't too bothered as I like the keyboard quite a bit. I got the brown version too and like the feel - they're a bit heavier than Cherry browns but I got used to that quickly.
I've even got used to the rather strange font on the caps.
I'm not so sure about the font myself, but so far I am liking it. I spent the day programming with it, and aside from a complaint from a co-working about the racket, it's been bliss.
I like the way that the keycaps have the shifted symbols on the top row so they're properly illuminated by the LEDS, something which keyboards I own costing twice the price don't.
My daily driver is a Cooler Master Storm TKL and after a year spent looking at those keys the font on the RG987 is classy and understated by comparison.
I'm still changing the keycaps when I get the chance, though. ;)
