The diffusion line of a renowned Scotland-based mill, Royal Speyside employs traditional methods and machinery to produce knitwear reminiscent of the Scottish Borders area. Which makes sense: The mill has been producing textiles here, on the banks of the River Teviot, for more than 140 years Read More
I love how super soft it is, and it keeps the cold temperate out. Unfortunately it got caught in my jacket's velcro by accident and immediately started to unpick, hence the 3 stars.
Just an amazingly comfortable and super stylish scarf...lost mine fairly recently and was not happy. This just feels great on your skin, and looks super classy. Great buy.
Just used them during a holiday trip. They kept me warm in the 10degC cold. Probably not the correct stuff for zero temperatures though. And the colours... Initially I didn't like that they were more subdued than in the pictures here, but after using them, I realised how outstanding they still actually were and easy to match because they were not loud. I'll be looking to buy again for different patterns when the drop restarts.
I bought the Navy Classic Multi Check. The material was soft and warm, though I'm living in San Francisco (65 degrees average), so I don't know how well it withstands real cold weather. I received several complements on my scarf from male and female friends with far better senses of style than me. It also withstood a couple runs through the washer and drier (though I would not recommend cleaning it that way). I would definitely buy it again and will probably buy another pattern soon for my collection.

Edit: unfortunately they are pilling badly, which is very disappointing.
They are quite thin but they are nice. Merino wool is soft and warm.
