This will be a hard pass for me given my history of backing and dealing with the fallout of RPMWEST's "Century" pants. Proceed with caution.
Edit to add: Long story short: Pants marketed as being build to last "A Quarter Century" fell apart after a handful of wears- returned (after considerable trouble with terrible customer service). Got a new pair, which fell apart after two wearings. Junk.
McAdamsandwichIf you own or have had personal experience with these jeans then I welcome opinions and feedback, but please refrain from accusations involving their business practices without sources. Just a friendly reminder that making claims about a company without proof is toeing a line and speculation from other people on the internet does not count as evidence. Thank you for understanding.
AlexPkIt's not an empty accusation; I personally received one of their marketing emails having never signed up (as did many others on Reddit).
I'm a big supporter of denim brands large and small, but I believe this one isn't worthy of our support.
McAdamsandwichThat's fair. I did try to dig up as much as possible when I read your comment and ended up on the Reddit threads in rawdenim talking about it. I just want to keep things as factual as possible when it comes to the discussion. I've seen too many witch hunts start on misunderstandings and misinformation. I do understand that is difficult to prove anything for or against in this case since it's just an email and an unsubscribe page, but I appreciate your wanting to help the community and meant it more as a warning to the people who follow. Cheers.
