Great fit in pocket. Not bulky like another "Slim" wallet I've had in the past. Finish will definitely not stick around, as I've had one accidental drop, and it left a good scratch on the corner. Also concerned with the RFID blocking claim. I put my work keycard in it, and the readers can still read the card through the wallet. Hopefully this is just because the whole card is one giant RFID coil, vs the small NFC chips in credit cards. Not a huge deal breaker for me, as I only have 1 card with this capability, and it is in the very middle of the sandwich of other cards. Other than that, a very nice, solid wallet.

I really wanted to like this wallet. I really did. I did like it's small form factor, It's multi tool like design and It's cool housing of my cards and cash. What ended up ruining it for me was when I went to use it for the first time. I open a cold refreshing beverage and this is what happened......

The metal isn't as "Rugged Material" as they led me to believe. (Maybe the bottle tops in Australia are made from more "Rugged Material" than this wallet.

I've had this for quite a while, august '18. The drop was in June '18. They've definitely changed the design of the wallet since then. The invoice I received had a picture of my "version" of the wallet. After using the wallet, I used the link from my profile in the purchased history to leave the review. This is where it brought me.... I believe they know that it was defective and just changed it between drops. If I had your version maybe my review would be more positive.

Renegade7Gotchya. If you head to https://www.ruggedmaterial.com/collections/leather-wallets you'll see it looks like you got the 2017 version. Sorry to hear, as it does look like they realized the design flaw that you ran into. If you're willing to give it another shot, I will tell you the V2 is worth it.

It's almost perfect. There is a reasonable space for cards, banknotes can be folded and put behind the band (although it is a bit of a chore, after a ATM visit), along with a few coins. The tool set is a nice bonus, even if I've used the bottle opener and screwdriver only (also rarely, so I can't input at the moment about the material or finish durability for the aluminium version). But the most important thing is, that the wallet does not have any space for trash, receipts, the register-once-never-use "loyalty" cards. It's minimalistic, rugged and useful.

Does not keep its finish as well as I would like and seems to get worn down and scratched.
