LOUISLLKI'm not the seller, but can offer some general advice : Unfinished leather will always do that as it absorbs oils from your skin (and anything else that might get on it) You can try cleaning it with Saddle Soap, following the instructions on the bottle. Or other similar leather cleaners (try horse tack, automotive, or shoe retailers). Then if you really want it to stay as is, you'll have to add a protectant. That will almost always darken the leather a little, but it will be uniform, not splotchy (if done right) Options for protection range from oils and waxes, to paint on top coats (Tandy makes some good ones), or you could even try a silicone shoe leather protector spray. Then buff it out after you add the top coat if you want that polished look It's not very hard to do, but it sounds like you bought the wrong product off that's the look you're after

LOUISLLKAs i said, I'm not the seller, I was only offering some general advice on treating raw leather. I'm also not endorsing the product, as I don't own it and am not very impressed by the pictures....but in their defense, the things you are complaining about would be the same issue with any untreated leather product. It's not the fault of this company or this product. In the future, if what you want is leather that will not change appearance, you need to look for something that comes pre-treated, or treat it yourself as soon as you get it, before you get it dirty. This listing specifically mentioned that the leather will develop a patina over time from handling. Some people do want that to happen.

LOUISLLKDude... I'm not trying to sell you anything lol I couldn't be more clear in saying in both my posts that I am NOT the seller. Heck, I even said in this and other posts that I don't find their work to be that impressive. I was just trying to help you out, as a fellow community member here, to fix what you were unhappy with. If you want massdrop to do something for you, you need to go to your transactions page and click contact support under this product in your purchases list. They're never going to see your random comment on a listing that's been closed for 2+ months. That said, i doubt there is anything they are going to do for you after waiting 2 months to ask for assistance. Especially when it's not actually a defective product, it's just different from what you thought you were getting. The description for what you bought highlighted the fact that this leather will build "patina" over time. That's another way of saying the discoloration and staining you're seeing after handling it.
