I received mine last week. I keep a field notes notebook in my inside right blazer/sports jacket pocket along with a pencil and I thought that this will be nice to dress it up a bit. It was the saddle color. My impressions:
-really nice craftmanship -the size is too big to be pocketable. Very thick leather and about half an inch each dimension bigger than it could had been. It does fit well in a standard inside jacket pocket, so I had to not use it and it is sitting now. Will be fine for notebooks that are inside a bag, and I will find a use for it.

jeffersonAI know you've had this for a week only, but in your opinion, how will the leather on the saddle colored cover age? Does it looks like it'll have lots of creases and scratches?
Also, how is the rough interior side? Does it create lots of small 'leather crumbs' (for lack of a better term)?

BobrazIt does scratch and the color lightens up when stretched. Both happened when I put a mechanical pencil in the pen sleeve. Discoloration is temporary but the scratching is permanent. Pretty much just like the burgundy in the picture below
I don't mind, really. I have not seen those things on the inside of the leather, on the other hand I did not rub it and I did not use it much as well...

jeffersonAThanks, very useful! 🙌
Will probably switch to buckskin; I want to minimize scratches and make it age gracefully (mine is to be used with a passport, in reality).
