This is actually a really really great product. The leather is nice & thick with subtle characteristics from the top layer left behind. The leather smells amazing & I can definitely see this developing a beautiful patina over the next few years. I originally was going to buy 2 but hesitated as I had not purchased from this seller before... I regret not buying a 2nd one now, and i'll definitely grab another on the next drop. Absolutely beautiful. 10/10 quality.

To be clear, the product itself is a 5-star rating for me. The reason I took one star away is because the first one if these I purchased for my wife in ocean came with a high quality canvas bag that has served a ton of utility for us. I was expecting the same with my new saddle colored one I ordered in this drop, but as I opened the package today, Just the leather pouch. A little disappointing, maybe it was a first run type thing, who can say. But I want to stress that this pouch is really great, and I am excited to break it in with my juicy hand oils over time. But a little more communication would be nice, on the product page from each drop, just a wish of mine. I spend too much money on this site and now I WANT THE WORLD! Buy this pouch if you need one.

Excellent

They are rugged, good-looking, and useful. The coloring is especially well-done. Saddle is the most glossy of the lot. Buckskin has the softest/least structured leather of the four I bought. Brown is the most antique-like. I wish these small ones also came in burgundy as the large and medium ones do. I think burgundy is the best done color of all the bigger ones I bought.

Looks nothing like photo. Uneven coloring, arrived with scratches on it, just a low quality presentation. Let me put it this way: if I had planned on giving this to someone as a gift, I'd be too embarrassed to even show it to them.

Great as a tech dopp kit

I use it to pack my cables things for travel. I keep it stocked with plugs, charging cables, mini-HDMI, bluetooth headphones, etc. When I'm taking a trip, I just throw it in my bag and I know I've got all my tech accessories. I would give it 5 stars if it was slightly bigger. Great product. (It's leather, so if you treat it like good leather - condition it - it gets better with age.)

High quality and thick leather(surprised at how thick it is), it is so thick, it makes the pouch stiff but that is a good thing. I got the dark green, blue Ocean colour, looks good. The colour is closer to the pictures here than on the original site but it is still a bit different, maybe because of the lighting.

I'm reviewing this product because Massdrop emailed me and asked if I would. Leather Quality - Excellent. Smells great! The "Ocean" color wasn't quite the same as the photos for this drop, but it's still beautiful. I bet a jacket made from the "Ocean" leather would be stunning. Hardware Quality - Excellent. Great materials used throughout. Build Quality - Poor. My pouch just isn't symmetrical. It was "crooked" when it arrived, and its lumpiness has increased with time. Whomever was in charge of putting this item together could have done a better job. From what I've read in MS discussion of the product, my pouch may just be a dud - I don't see other complaints about the craftsmanship from those who participated in this drop. Yours will hopefully be better! Value - Poor. This item was pretty expensive, and the materials are world class, but it isn't that well made, especially considering the simple design. I didn't like it enough to keep in my backpack as I had planned, so it sits in a drawer.
