Good deskmat with caveats

I'm not sure this is a great value at the price stated. The edges are unfinished(I knew this going in as they are sold as raw but it's important to note) and due to that it kind of detracts from the overall look. 2 minutes at the manufacturer running something along the edge would have removed a lot of these loose burrs. You can still have a raw unpainted edge like I do on other pieces I won without the extra burrs. Secondly, not the fault of the mat, but it's important as you are buying from drop, the mat was not shipped flat to me. It's the middle of the winter where I live. I had to weigh the mat down to get it to flatten out. All that being said, the leather looks quality and has been easy to take care of so far. I would buy it again but only if I had a coupon like I did. I do recommend this product with some reservations.
