I'm confused, because the description suggests this is the smaller one, but the size listed is for the larger one. Please confirm whether this is is for the large or small Refillable Writer's Log.

Based on the $44 mfrp, this is probably the small size, but that's based on the assumption that they'd get two pieces of info correct and one incorrect, rather than the other way around. Therefore, the size under specs are wrong. Per their web site, the small cover holds a 5” x 6.5” book. It would have been nice if Massdrop or Rustico had responded. It would be disappointing to receive a smaller cover, if this was purchased based on the listed dimensions (8.75 x 6.75 in), without knowing the company or their products, and simply trusting the info in the drop.
