I'm gonna try to make a jst compatible daughterboard for this. Should be compatible with plain60-c PCB then. Best alternative for a universal pcb for this board if that works out

Plain60 can also take a speaker, so audio support!

Would that enable the use of any 60% USB-C pcb? That would be amazing. I really want to do a Boardwalk build in this case.

Any 60% PCB with a daughterboard JST connector :)

I’m also thinking about a Boardwalk PCB in this, but unless there is a way to connect Boardwalk’s USB to the daughter board, I don’t know if it’ll work. The recess for the USB-C is just too deep. Maybe someone who knows can comment?

I'm it's current form the boardwalk does not have the necessary connector for a daughterboard. Looking at the video i think there might be enough room to run a thin usbc cable through the hole allowing the use of the boardwalk and essentially making a wired keyboard (kind of how like the tkc1800 works). Won't know until it's in hand though

if you are comfortable soldering, you can solder a wire to points on the boardwalk.
