As the cases/parts where handled by the vendor and not by us, I'm really disappointed to hear that the PCBs were not even wrapped and just thrown into the packaging. I myself have ordered one (haven't received it yet) but I will share my experience here as well. 9/29: I've reuploaded the plate file (which has been looked through by a friend and I trying to figure this out for a few hours), and tested it by uploaded to Sendcutsend. Make sure you sets units to mm! I had a POM one cut from Ponoko a few months back in preparation with split BS (the only difference). I'm trying to figure out the VIA situation stay tuned and I appreciate the patience.

SpencerLThanks for posting the VIA hex. I am curious to hear if your spare pcb is also missing the daughter board. It seems a few of us already have that issue, which is quite disappointing.

SpencerLThe DXF looks off. Importing into sendcutsend says it's 10x smaller than the other plate. Thanks for posting it, but it's unusable.

yanfaliLet me get back to a friend and see if he can get the sizing correct. I'm getting 30 inches on SCS and that's definitely off.

SpencerLIf you look at the pic @yanfali posted there is a spot to select millimetres. If you select that it will take it off inches (would be way too big). As you can see in his pic it should be 302.35 x 111.85, but the decimals are off so its 30.235 x 11.185 millimetres.

SpencerLMight want to tweak the DXF one more time and change the holes from m1.5/m2 to M3. You're going to need to drill the plate, or just use screws to cut into the POM.

SpencerL @SpencerL any chance you could tweak the screw holes in the plate to be m3? Currently they are m2 size and too small.

*Help* Screw in stabilizers not fitting in Dropshift V2 keyboard

I'm trying to build a mechanical keyboard with screw in stabilizers, I've build some mechanical keyboards with click-in stabilizers, never with screw in. Somehow one of the pins of the metal top-part collides with the screw in stabilizer of the numpad "enter key". I already tried grinding of a bit of the pin that collides with the stabilizer, but unfortunately I can't make it fit/close properly. You can see that the pin of the toppart leaves a mark on the bottompart of the stabilizer, see picture 2. What am I missing? Using Durock V2 in a Dropshift fullsize V2. See pictures below, thanks in advance!

Want to build a Clicky Mech Keyboard. Where to begin?

Hello all. Am brand new to the idea of building my own keyboard. Have not a clue where to begin this process. I am a Sim Game enthusiast. American Truck Sim, DCS Flight Sim and goes from there. Need some real help on where to start for making my own Full Size, Clickey Mechanical KB. I want each key to have its own backlighting. Are there keys that are better than others for this? Is there a great spot on site for a person who has never even taken a keyboard apart? Let alone fixed or built one? I would like it to fit my theme of Red and Black. Yet maybe have the option of changing things up a bit. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all kindly, Durazell

Does the ALT v2 PCBA support USB-C e-marked cables?

Currently my ALT v1 does not work with e-marked USB-C cables. I was wondering if the v2 PCBA does support these types of cables (thunderbolt 4 cable for example)?
