this close to pulling the trigger. But for the pointless inclusion of a piece of leather. Does anyone really need these pieces of leather on their jeans? They serve no function.

Several sizes missing from the drop down for both colours. Are they already sold out, or yet to be added?

Hora_MundiCheck the sizing chart -- a 31 that you're used to may be actually closer to a size 32 here.
Have a pair of the Scout. The indigo is rubbing off on all my leather boots and jackets.

TheTerriblePuddle@TheTerriblePuddle yup, every pair of nice jeans I've ever owned has done this when they are new. APC, Nudies, etc. Unfortunately, you just have to be careful what you wear with them until they've worn a bit. Usually after the first wash or two it gets much better. It is the price you pay for unique fades.

stupacshakur@TheTerriblePuddle a few things you can do going forward is give your new pair one initial soak to remove some of that initial indigo that will chip off right away before you start wearing them -- and another thing i used to do is put masking tape or any kind of tape really on the inside of your cuff -- just the few inches that touch your sneakers/shoes at the top, and that should prevent it rubbing off on them until you're ready to wash them.

These look awesome. I've been in the market for some new denim and these would seem to fit the bill.
Only question is, are these different than the ones on their website that they are selling for $52?

I haven't checked how much shipping is from Indonesia if you buy direct yet, $28 sounds a bit high, but it wouldn't surprise me either. I'm assuming returns aren't possible from Massdrop or direct, so may be a toss-up at this point for me.

stupacshakurThat is correct - the MSRP on this drop is for the price of these jeans shipped to the US/Europe. That would be 90 dollars. That's why we list it as such because our pricing includes free shipping to the US and discounted shipping to other territories. We worked hand-in-hand with Sage to make sure this is the best deal for their international customers to get their hands on a pair of these great versatile jeans.
Returns aren't possible, but you know this: the jeans are sanforized (minimal if any shrinking at all) and there's a size chart that you can compare against perhaps a favorite pair of jeans you already own, and make an informed decision.

@TomasV I could use some sizing advice if you have a moment. My nudies and APC jeans I fit well with 32 waist. Should I size up/down/same here? I don't wear jeans as much these days with my job, generally chinos instead, and size 32 J. Crew chinos fit me like a glove. I see that according to the size chart, size 32 equates to a 33 waist for these. But, generally 31 waist is just a bit on the tight side for me.

stupacshakurHello @stupacshakur !
If you measure your APCs / Nudies you'll probably see that a size 32 is closer to a 34 actual waist measurement (most mainstream brands add about 2 inches of allowance on the waist -- also known as 'vanity sizing'). So for example, i usually wear size 34 in Levis (which measures 36" on the waist), but in this case a size 34 from Sage measures 35 inches on the waist, which wouldn't be enough... so i'd be jumping into their 36s, which makes more sense...even if they measure 37 and that may be just a tiny bit lose (my 34s are usually tight so i'm okay with this..hehe).
Basically i'm trying to say, in a long way, that I'd recommend sizing up -- as Sage's allowance is one inch, versus some Western/US brands that are closer to the 2 inch allowance mark.
Again, the best thing you can do is measure your favorite pairs and get an idea of actual waist measurement, and pick the closest thing here.
Let me know if that helps and if you have any other questions! :)

We’re very happy to welcome back the folks from Sage Denim Co. to our website with some really strong offerings that should satisfy lots of folks.
This time around we’re featuring one of their most popular, easiest to get into styles they’ve ever made, the 14oz. Rover.
And yes, these are non-selvedge, projectile-loomed denim, but not only do they feature some of the same details that we’re accustomed to see from the Indonesian brand, but this time we’re offering a variety of fabrics to choose from — from their famous deep indigo where both warp and weft have been dyed giving you extra contrast fades over time (please look at those sweet fade shots — we are still wrapping our heads around the fact that those are 6-month wear fades btw!) to the black/indigo fabric that looks super sleek and offers a nice alternative to the classic ‘blue jeans’.
These are sanforized so expect minimal to no shrinkage (1-3% on the first few washes). Please check the size chart and have at it. Free shipping included in the US — units are limited per size so jump on it while they’re here!
