We’ve been longtime fans of Indonesian denim. From the incredible fades on unsanforized fabrics to their own fabric production of heavyweight selvage fabrics, the country has brought its textile heritage back to the forefront of the denim world.
We’re very proud to start our feature on their offerings with one of the country's most recognized denim brands: Sage. The two friends behind the brand live and breathe denim much like us here at MD. No detail was expensed on these, from the custom hardware and hidden arcuate to the chain-stitching, the production level here is top-notch and deserves to be seen to be believed.
We’re very fortunate to put this drop together with the folks at Sage. They really are small batch production team, all their jeans are made one at a time. They’re usually a bit hard to order from and pay for that expensive overseas shipping, so we’re facilitating a group buy for everyone to get a chance at experiencing quality Indonesian-made denim. This drop is limited to 65 made-to-order units, so please don’t sleep on it!
