thanks, yeah I passed. I was thinking my nephew would get a kick out of this, but after looking closer I realized it's a rabbit hole of things to add on.

This does NOT come with the rotating base, the ATMega Arduino board or the "SainSmart Control Palletizing Robot Arm Shield" without these parts the arm is just a pile of useless parts.
SainSmart customer support is a joke. They are based in Hong Kong and if you try to order the parts from them they will lose your order and get it wrong and not respond to emails. A month later I still don't have the shield. I will never, ever, purchase anything from SainSmart again!!!

I do have to say, I do business with folks in HK all the time, lots of people there are very trustworthy and diligent. Just like US and EU companies, there are good and bad companies when it comes to customer service.

I just received the item and one part is missing.. I don't know where can i get a phone number or email contact to solve this problem, i can't use this item because this part is from the main structure. i hope that i can get a replace for this part.

this ships with the ATMega correct? I am a little confused by the 'compatible with' phrasing in the copy.
