This does NOT come with the rotating base, the ATMega Arduino board or the "SainSmart Control Palletizing Robot Arm Shield" without these parts the arm is just a pile of useless parts.
SainSmart customer support is a joke. They are based in Hong Kong and if you try to order the parts from them they will lose your order and get it wrong and not respond to emails. A month later I still don't have the shield. I will never, ever, purchase anything from SainSmart again!!!

Apologize for any issues you encountered with SainSmart. However, I believe there must be some misunderstanding. This ' Frame & Servo Kit ' does not include rotating base. Sainsmart1There is no misunderstanding at all. I am fully aware that the "Frame & Servo kit" does not come with the rotating base, the Arduino ATMega and "Sainsmart Control Palletizing Robot Arm Shield".
The purpose of my comment was to be sure to inform potential purchasers of this "Frame and Servo" kit that they will need to purchase additional items in order for the arm to work at all.
It took Sainsmart 5 weeks from the time of my initial email asking for pricing and my getting the final missing part (left out of the original shipment) I needed to have a functional robot arm. This includes email response times of 2 to 3 days, Sainsmart losing my order after I paid for it and Sainsmart leaving out the Control Palletizing Robot Arm Shield from my original order.
I'm sorry but my experience with Sainsmart was very bad. I like your products but I will not purchase your products again. Your customer service, though very courteous, lost my order, took days to respond to my emails and got my order wrong, even though I specifically outlined what I wanted to purchase.

Mike603Title and images on the drop are quite misleading thanks for your post. Was considering getting this until I saw that its really only half of a kit.

Mike603thanks for the heads up about what is and isn't included. I do have to say, I do business with folks in HK all the time, lots of people there are very trustworthy and diligent. Just like US and EU companies, there are good and bad companies when it comes to customer service.
