Here is a project for the very many of you out there who are much smarter than I am:
Find a way to get a microphone input to this to make a basic real time analyser for the sound in the room.
Thanks!
Haven't tried this out yet, since i'm moving to a new place soon. I would like to use it with my stereo receiver if it's possible. I play vinyl and Bluetooth audio through the receiver which is sent to passive bookshelf speakers with speaker wire. Any recommendations for this and for power supplies for this thing?
So, I have yet to get this thing to power on - I will be trying a third power supply as soon as I can get one - but so far, I am very unimpressed with what was advertised as an out-of-the-box finished product. Thanks for the instructional insert entirely in Mandarin - if it’s not DOA, (which it may be)I may have enough information from the pictures to get it up and running. Lame sauce MD - next time, sell me a neopixel array and an aedition, I’ll at least have the right level of expectations going in.

theMillerDaveAll is well with this kit - working as advertised (issues with my power supply). I'm guessing the controller board can't be reprogrammed with the STC-ISP writter/programmer - am I wrong?
So I was warned about this not having a power supply, but I thought it was straight-forward, I'm a newb so can someone point me in the right direction on how to get power to this board? I've been googling "low ripple dc 5v 5a power supply" but not sure what I actually need. I eventually want to mount this somewhere, so a smaller power suppply would be ideal.
Thanks,
Hmm, I’m thinking one per channel. get Some opaque plexi to cover it and frame it out might look pretty cool. Damn, looks like MD is getting More of my money.
If you wait til near the end of the video, you'll see the same pattern as in the picture here. Also the product code is the same as on the Sainsmart website so reasonably confident now!
matthewtroutLook at the blue and black mouse it's the same guy as in the video in the description.
Also both videos has the same model in the video title: MS3264 V3
