Is this what happens when you scrape the bottom of the barrel so hard, that you dig into the wood and a pair of $90 plain lens glasses falls out?

What's so terrible about them? At least they're made in a country with actual attention to detail and pride of manufacture.

JohnnyCreditI believe I was eluding to the price of them when I wrote this, laying great emphasis on the plain lens glasses. But quite possibly you did not read that, and I would recommend these glasses to you, but unfortunately they will not help you read for your $90.
Also,
being made in Japan does not make anything quality. However from what I read, these are quite good. As good as my identical £10 frames from China. That have a longer warranty period I might add.
