I wonder if the reason these sunglasses keep turning up warped and twisted is due to the plastic construction? I'm not sure acetate would warp like that. I think I'll have to steer clear of these after seeing the reviews, as much as I like the Ferragamo brand.

LeonhYes, that's a fair point. My eyes have some UV damage, so it matters to me too.

Folks, for the price and the fact they are genuine Italian made from one of the great design houses, these are superbly priced.
I picked up a pair.
They have polarised poly lenses.
Liberate your inner Dolce Vita and just pick up a pair next time they come round.

Are these just regular plastic, rather than acetate? Normally acetate frames are described as such, but these just say 'plastic'.
