Pick a Direction
After removing the Go Direct from its travel case, pull out the retractable USB connector, plug right into your computer or iPad (with a Camera Adapter Kit), and you’re ready to record. Depending on your need, you can use the slide-switch to select your polar pattern between cardioid, omni, or cardioid with a 10 dB pad. Whatever route you choose, the Go Direct features an overall flat response and has enough sensitivity (121 dB) to capture all of your input within a close distance.
Hit the Deck
Compatible with Mac OS X, Windows, and most digital audio software, the Samson Go Direct Mic caters to a range of systems and can be effortlessly applied to solo singalongs, podcasting, and even Skype calls. Should you need a little more clarity in your audio, turn to the included Samson Sound Deck Noise Cancellation software, a program that uses algorithms to minimize background noise and keep the focus where it should be: your vocals.
