Not too big a deal but I noticed in the pictures the pen loop very snugly holds onto the mechanical pencil and I imagine this would be too skinny for most of my pens. Would it be possible to make the pen loop a little bigger?

JonokiThe pen loop will fit most pens, just not very bulky ones. Keep in mind the leather will stretch over time as well. On the travel journal, the design gets a little clunky looking with a bigger pen loop.

SatchelandPageThanks so much for the reply! My concern is mostly with the large journal and compatibility with fountain pens. As a newer fountain pen user I have noticed that the fountain pens I own are a bit wider in general than the disposable ballpoints I used to use. I was wondering if maybe you can show a picture with a Pilot Metro, Lami Safari, or any Twsbi pen in the journal? I feel I might just be paranoid because mechanical pencils are very thin and that is the only thing I've seen in the loop. Also would it be possible to make a large journal with no pen loop?

JonokiI'm sorry, we will not be able to take a picture before the drop ends. Sorry about that. The journals have already gone into production, so we cannot make a custom one without a pen loop. If you prefer to not have the pen loop, it would be very easy to have it unstitched / removed.
