I am about to drop some money on a nice fountain pen, can you tell me if it will fit a pilot vanishing point pen in the large journal pen loop? Thanks

SatchelandPageI'm not the person who asked the original question but the answer is relevant to my interests. Massdrop recently had a drop on the pen he mentioned here http://tinyurl.com/pu2ugwq . On that page it says the diameter of the pen is .6 inches (1.6cm). Google says the formula for circumference is pi times the diameter. This makes the circumference of the pilot vanishing point 1.9 inches (4.8cm). I'm not sure if my math is accurate but I tried. While finding this info I was wondering, what is the circumference or diameter of the pen loop?

JonokiWow, it's been awhile since I saw a math book! :) The diameter of the pen loop is .4-.5 inches so I don't think the pilot pen you mentioned is going to fit.

SatchelandPageYeah haha it's been awhile since I've taken a math class as well. Thanks so much for the reply and info. 1/2 inch is big enough to fit most of the pen bodies I mentioned and can fit the metro up to the cap, if the numbers online are dependable. I'm super stoked for this journal and have also backed your kickstarter project. I look forward to owning some fine leather goods. =)
