I normally wear 5" shorts for running. Anyone care to chime in using these as running shorts and how the length is for them?

When it's cold I like to throw my shorts over my base-layer tights, but judging from the description it seems like these things have built-in underwear or something. Anyone know if I can throw these over a pair of leggings?

I bought the Run 5" last time and they are great, but pretty short if you want to wear them for work outs rather than running. Otherwise, fit is good, material is very light but doesn't feel too flimsy. I did a request hoping the Train 8" or Run 7" would be available as well. Hoping for next time....
