When making an omelette or a crepe, a good nonstick coating on your pan is non-negotiable. Two years of research and development went into the making of STRATANIUM, SCANPAN’s new-and-improved nonstick coating. Consisting of five layers, in which hard particles interlock to reinforce the nonstick, STRATANIUM is 50 percent stronger than the previous coating. You’ll find this new coating on the Classic series, made from 100 percent recycled aluminum. Compatible with virtually all stovetops (excluding induction), the Classic series is versatile and oven safe to 500 degrees.
