I don't think this drop is worth the money at all. The body of the pen is cheap plastic. The M nib I got felt more like a broad, with little to no control over inkflow. So in all honesty, I wouldn't pay anything more than $10 for this piece of crap.

The Aston Leather pen sleeve is about $14. The ink bottle (which looks like the 15 ml / 0.5 oz sample bottle) can be had as a 4 color sample pack (60 ml / 2.0 oz total) for about $14, so the ink description appears to be off. So at the lowest drop of $45, subtract $14 for the pen sleeve, and about $3.50 for the price of 1 ink bottle, you're paying around $27.50 for the pen. A Lamy Safari or Vista can be had for $29.60 (add about $5 for a converter), or a Pilot Metropolitan for about $15 (comes with a squeeze converter).
skrooksThe Safari and Vista can be had for less than $20 with Amazon Prime. The Al-Star goes for about $30, and the Al-Star gift set, which includes ink bottle, cartridges and a converter is available for just under $50.
I wanted to like this drop. However, at $50 you can get a similar Lamy Al-Star bundle, which is much better value. For just a bit more you could get the Lamy Lx... As a starter bundle this drop would have been much better if the sleeve was replaced by a Rhodia pad, or Clairefontaine notebook. You need paper to start writing. Leather pen sleeve? Not so much. Especially not for a really basic pen such as this.
