Featuring a sculpted bowl with a fine-edged rim and a long stem, these glasses from Schott Zwiesel offer a satisfying drinking experience for white wine, red wine, rosé, and more. Made from chip-resistant Tritan crystal with titanium and zirconium, they’re thick enough that you don’t have to worry about a toast—but not so thick that you can’t see the characteristics of the wine through the glass Read More
These were not even close to what I was expecting. They look like something that comes from the Dollar stores. A couple of the glasses had pieces of the glass chipped out on the bottom of the stems. I will not purchase this brand again.
These glasses were not what I was expecting. I have two sets of the Schott Zwiesel glasses (red wine and stemless) and these are beautiful (thin lips and nice construction). This new set looks very much lower rent. The rim (lip) is thick and noticeable. The glasses are not elegant at all. I am disappointed, but some friend will get a nice starter set of glasses that are dishwasher safe.
Perhaps my five star review gives away my low-brow nature. Y'all know I'm gonna drink boxed wine...right?
The glasses are tall, stout, and hold a generous pour. They look good on the table. The stem is textured for an easy grip, FEATURE. You most certainly get what you pay for, sometimes, you get a bit more.
Love the shape and structure of the bowl. The stem has a distinct ridge in it that can be felt when holding / spinning (yes, I play with my wine). Foot is fine and the they seem to be sturdy overall. Net a 4/5 that is being pulled down by the stem defect(?).
