Product Description
Featuring a sculpted bowl with a fine-edged rim and a long stem, these glasses from Schott Zwiesel offer a satisfying drinking experience for white wine, red wine, rosé, champagne, and more. Made from chip-resistant Tritan crystal with titanium and zirconium, they’re thick enough that you don’t have to worry about a toast—but not so thick that you can’t see the characteristics of the wine through the glass Read More

How come I cannot find a way to leave a "REVIEW"? These glasses are cheap and cheaply made. One of the glasses came with a big blemish that feels like a sandy spot and a few scratches.

Just a note for people who are considering buying these glasses. Different wines require different shapes of stemware. The description states that these glasses will be good for white, red and rosé which is just false. These appear to be Pinot noir glasses and that is all I would pour in them. The flutes should be used just for sparkling wine but their shape is slightly more wide than I am used to seeing. For people looking for glasses for these purposes Zwiesel makes quality product but don't let the description make you think these are suited for every type of wine.

ZachMSo true, Zach! And yet, it could also be argued that these would be more pleasant to drink decent wines out of than say mason jars or some cheapo thick-rimmed glasses, and if your storage space is limited, burgundy glasses work well for Barolos and Chardonnay too. Just saying. :) And my somm friends schooled me on flutes too! Who knew?

Just received the Congresso set fully intact. Well packaged. Evident high quality. These are much larger than my other wine glasses.

Mine just started shipping! Super excited to get these in and try them out. Just a thought, what do we do if some of the glasses come broken?

Unrelated, but I have collins glasses from the same company that I use as water glasses and they seem pretty solid to me. If I needed wine glasses I would definitely be in for a set.

Where are these made? It does say German glassmaking, but does that mean they are made in Germany? Thx...

kstokleyThese seem really tall. It is a pity there is not a photo of someone holding one for reference.

There are different glass shapes for different types of wine. These appear to be the red Burgundy profile. Can someone confirm this?
