No, it has little fingers on the inside that aid in washing and an air release valve along with fill lines. I've been using this for a few years on trips and it works very well.

Didn't buy it from here, but had it on my trip in Haiti for a month, worked beautifully. I recommend it.

Will be taking this to Namibia in September on a self drive safari. Taking 5 days worth of clothing for a 18 day trip. Should come in handy.

I dunno about the back county but I have taken mine on several cruises and I'm always glad I have it. Its a bit of a PITA but it beats paying the laundry rates on the ship! I am wondering now if I have the new valve or the old one. 🤔

Might just get this for washing small loads at home like wool items or when I need to wash dwr and waterproof breathable that require special soaps.

Grabbed this on the last drop and really like it, I've found that if before I deflate the bag the clothes are cleaned better if I shake the hell out of it. I've used it about a dozen times and haven't had any issue with the quality.

Probably the most useless idea for any thru hiker soap. Stick or rough clean stone and bit of scrubbing does the job
