I'm still trying to understand how Massdrop is perceived as a discount bin site full of products that weren't flying off shelves. Honestly, I find all products sold on Massdrop as highly sought after high end products. As many others said, items like hard to find high end GTX1070 graphics cards and beautiful watches are featured on the site quite often. I'm sure Massdrop is more worried about their perception, as board games become more and more popular amongst their inquired hobby items, then the opposite.
Not a knock on board games btw, I love them.
I am not employed by Massdrop, and only participated in 3 drops myself.

au7oma7icIn that regards, Massdrop actually does in some ways resemble a standard bargain-bin kind of place, because of their inclusion of low-demand options mixed in with the high-demand stuffs. If you consider how they dilute their sales of certain fountain pens, or offer a smaller set of options for higher-quality or certain aesthetics, they do appear to never be in full control of their own stock and therefore are comparable to a discount overstock store.
I understand that there are some high-demand things, but honestly sometimes you can see that Massdrop is clearly being used as an advertisement platform moreso than providing what the public *vocally* wants.
