I have no idea what I would be using this for, but I want this scope. Bye bye classic $20k unportable scopes, this is the future!

SpidySeriously this! We were using unbelievably expensive scopes in our undergrad labs and I just expected I'd never be able to use one again outside of a professional setting. This blows my mind.

FletchTheFourthWhile I never seen a 20k device that's just an oscilloscope, I know you can get a decent one used for a couple hundred. This is still much cheaper, but I'm leaning towards you mostly get what you pay for.
This looks nice for tinkering though!

FletchTheFourthThis scope isn't awful, but it is no where near as good as the scopes you used in the lab, you can get some higher quality scopes for ~$300 for signals up to 50MHz (this only has a bandwidth of 200kHz). Having said that, if you don't need to probe any sensitive signals, or don't need bandwidth above 200kHz, then this will be great.
