elimelendezOK - my kit arrived yesterday & it does function correctly with a Raspberry Pi 2 - although the mechanical fit is a little off, only the two forward mounting holes line up, and you needed to be a bit careful to get the boards DIP socket correctly aligned with the Pi's DIP header - not hard, just a little fussy. I'm pretty familiar with Debian Linux on the Pi, and typically roll my own,, but unless you've your own A/D libraries and a specific project in mind that needs the latest distribution - Dexter's lightweight ' Raspbian for Robots' distro is a good place to start learning this kit - available from this page:

Also there are a number of inaccuracies and typos in the printed manual that comes with the kit - the online version is more accurate, but if your first projects don't work, read the python source code - the book's instructions may not match the code. All in all, this looks like a decent introduction to A/D interfacing with the Pi and well worth the price.
