This is a very neat design for a 3D RGB cube - easy to assemble and very bright, but be advised - it has a limited viewing angle ( < 180 deg). The RGB LEDs (AKA "neo-pixels") only face one direction and can't be seen from the back or sides of the cube. It would look pretty good on a shelf, but in my opinion, not so good as a desk ornament. I love 3D LED cubes and this one is a great way to get started with them. I just wanted ya'll to know the viewing limitations of this one before you spent $300...
