I would like to join the drop but I seriously don't need any of the extra starter kit since I've been soldering for long time. I think this iron would fit perfect bill for those occasional times where I have to solder under pinball playfield. Is there any way to just buy the iron or switch out the pcb kit for extra tip?

djkibaman@djkibamanThe Deluxe kit in this drop contains 2 tips. The tips are also sold as add-ons at checkout for $17 each. When we drop the mini soldering iron by itself it only comes with 1 tip and goes for $20 less than this drop. That being said you are only paying an extra $3 for the extras you see here in this drop.

Tex-ArozziHello, can we have the TS-I tip as an option? Also would be really cool to be able to choose the second tip, this would be a definitively bargain.

cinoThe Seeed Mini Soldering Iron Deluxe Kit is already pre-packaged and do not have the ability to customize the parts that come with it. I will contact Seeed about additional tip options.

Tex-ArozziThat would be great! Thanks B. Not wireless but I guess you can plug it directly to an automotive 12V output, true?

cinoIf you have a DC to AC inverter sure that should not be a problem. It will not come with a DC power adapter.
