KangTheMadI own 6 Pis, two are running mumble servers ( a voip like teamspeak ) , another is running a website, Another is running an ad-blocker for my entire network, another is running a music bot for one of my mumble servers and the last is running a media player for my tv.
The pi is a great little computer that can do almost anything u can think of. its a great platform to learn on. There are a ton of sites out there that list projects that u can do. some take minutes others take days.

KangTheMadit's just a small low power computer that's been set up for makers and coders to use to make things. it's not near as powerful as a laptop or a high/mid tier tablet though it may be about on par with a low/mid tier tablet. that said, the GPIO pins allow makers and coders to use it for a very wide range of uses. it uses a microSD card for it's hard drive. it usually runs linux.
