Whether you’re trying to scan 3D objects or give your robot the ability to navigate, the Seeed DepthEye 3D visual ToF camera kit has plenty of applicable DIY functions. About the size of a stick of gum, the camera can be connected to a computer, laptop, or mini-computing device via the micro USB port. It relies on a TI OPT8320 sensor that has an 80 x 60 resolution and can capture images at up to 1,000 frames per second.
