Product Description
From Colorado-based company Seek Outside, the Revolution-Fortress 4800/5800 combo is great for long-distance treks through the Brooks Range, gear-intensive sports like packrafting, and any time you have to haul a deer out of the woods. The frame can carry up to 120 pounds comfortably, and the modular setup allows you to use it with the Fortress pack, the Talon daypack, or both—or swap them out for other bags entirely Read More

If I needed to carry 30+ kg regularly (guiding, military, hunting?) I would probably buy this bag. Either this or a Load Limo from Aarn.

No body is comfortable carrying 100 pounds with this pack or any other. The only use I see is as ProfessorOak says, if you want to kill animals and haul body bags back to camp.

JwalcheRight, that's exactly what this is designed for - hauling very large / heavy loads. Who said it would be comfortable at that max weight? (Oops, I guess we did. Hmm). But the discomfort would be due to the load, not the pack.
I couldn't imagine carrying that much weight!

Great company, great packs. I had the great fortune of carrying a divide in New Zealand recently. I am a hard fit and these packs rock!

Ultralight? O.o

Some ideas that are being executed: ultralight hunting, ultralight photography/film, unsupported ultra-endurance, multi-mode ultralight (ie, bike-boat-walk-climb). There are modes of travel that are happening right now that are revolutionizing how we play. Two weeks ago I rode my fat bike to a river, folded the bike up and floated 75 miles, put everything on my back and scrambled class four for thirteen miles and rode the bike back to my car. This community is not "Ultralight Backpacking". It is "Ultralight".

First pic is the Evolution (the Revelation is an updated model of this) with a bunch of camping gear and a boned out mountain goat on board for about 90lbs total. Other pic is training with 2 forty pound bags of rock salt. These packs are awesome!

bcmnthntrWhen you were packing the heavy loads, how far were treks? ...and during the hike, and by the end, status of your hips (belt) and shoulders (straps)?
