Is it made in Japan ? showering or submersion ?

Pet4aDescription / spec says "Water resistance: 30 m". Unless you shower at 100ft depth, I'd think that's submersion - though this doesn't seem to be a diver's watch so I'm not sure how I'm supposed to accidentally submerge it to 3ATM :)

Yup, that's pretty much what the Seiko website states too.

serifOkay, but it's a in-house all Seiko movement and put together in Malaysia, if my memory serves. Anyhow, at this price point outside of maybe Orient you won't find what you're apparently looking for. My opinion it's no biggie if you like the watch.

SpiritOneAgreed. I personally don't think it's a big deal, especially for the price. I only have three Seikos, none have MIJ on them. :) Was just responding to Pet4a's question.
