Was just going over the comments from this old drop and all I can say is congratulations to everyone who actually scored one of these at MD's price of $140 because buddy, that ain't never gonna happen again!
Couple of reasons for that: first, in all likelihood the watch has probably been discontinued in both colors (Blue and Orange) and second, we just don't get those kinds of deals anymore on Seiko--hell, we barely get any damn Seikos around here period!
There's a lesson in all that--this watch had dropped a couple of times if memory serves, and more than a few guys (**see note below) passed it up thinking there was no particular rush to purchase one--perhaps it wasn't their first choice for a new watch, maybe they couldn't decide on the color, and since it had always been around, they likely thought it would continue to be around--until that day when it wasn't!
Yes, watch fans, that day came and went a long time ago and I'm bet'n none of us got that email--the one telling us this was the last time we'd see the Ice Monster, and the last time we'd see a Seiko at what now turns out to have been a better than 50% discount...
