so nice!!
really awesome and good looking watch. i bought it for my fiancé, and he seems to like it a lot!! it has a very appealing vintage look to it! the history behind it is very interesting and it's amazing how far seiko has come. about the watch itself: the dial could be smaller, which would make it less bulky but that's okay. i got the blue version of this watch and that adds an elegant, masculine appeal. overall good watch and would totally recommend!! :)

It’s a beautiful piece to add to my starter collection
I went for the gold bezel to add diversity to my collection of affordable watches. It has a crisp, classic look. The band isn’t the prettiest thing I’ve seen, but the beauty of bands is that you can upgrade later. Very happy.

Beautiful watch, but hard to read
I got the dark watch (SPL062). I put it on a NATO strap made of distressed leather. I think it looks fantastic as a piece of jewelry. However, the contrast between the copper-colored hands and the dark face is very poor in most lighting, which makes the watch hard to read. Perhaps the other faces do not suffer from this limitation. Moreover, since the "local time" subdial is a 24-hour dial, I would like to be able to see the markings, but their small size and poor contrast really hampers legibility. Finally, I really would have liked to have New Delhi included among the cities, since 1.4 billion people live in that time zone and it is an unusual step (0.5 hours) behind Dhaka, which is on the dial.
