I'm in love with this watch. Photos incoming!
Phone camera doesn't do justice to it, but oh well. I tried. These are my two favourite strap combinations with this; one is a leather nato for a casual, almost hiking-y Alpinist take, the other a Hirsch two piece strap, more suited to smart / smart-casual wear. I tried the Hirsch Duke strap too but I like it more on the Orient Bambino so that's where it'll stay until I buy some nice 21mm strap specifically for it.
andrew.bThank you! It's a C&B Straps strap. Jose has really nice, cheap leather straps - the nato was only $30! It's thin, and really flexible. I almost fear it'll break some time but it looks great and is going strong. I practically wear that strap everyday either on the Alpinist or on the Maratac Mid Pilot. Since it's so thin it conforms to my wrists perfectly - I have weird bony wrists with bones jutting out at weird angles and normal straps leave a gap between my wrist and the watch / strap.

payodpandaThx for the real-world selfie shots of this watch. I've had Seikos all my life and I think the same OEM strap came with a beautiful guilloche-face tanker-style watch that is buried somewhere in boxes from a long-ago interstate move. I've seen worse. But your choice for an aftermarket strap is pretty awesome too.
ExHackThank you! My watch collection still lacks any sort of textured-face watch. I'm eyeing the SARB065 Cocktail watch, but I should hold out. Been spending too much on watches and such.
Do you know which guilloche face watch you're talking about?
payodpandaOh hell no. I bought this one more than 20 years ago. I'd love to take a pic of it and send it to you, but it's either lost to the ages or buried in boxes from my move from SoCal that never got unpacked. It was a tanker style, very Cartier and very plain, with a pearl white guilloche face (just like the Cocktail, but in an oblong tanker style) and a plain goldtone casing. I do hope to find it again someday, put a new battery in it, and wear it when I want to dress things up a bit. Either that or get the Cocktail ;-)
payodpandaFrankly, I shouldn't be buying watches at the moment - my overtime money is just now coming back online and I have an overseas vacation to pay for. But maybe I'll just bury the price of the watch in the budget for the vacay :-D
