I'm still confused because people are reporting different things. Is the protective blue ring metal coated with cerakote or is it a sold piece of ceramic--the later is more awesome than the former in my opinion and cerakote will eventually wear through to expose the metal. If anyone knows for certain please let me know because I might not pick this up if it is just a coating. (I know cerakote is durable, I have applied both cerakote and duracoat.)

lobsterIt is cerakote over metal shroud unfortunately,only tuna that has ceramic shroud is a Darth SBBN013 and new version of that one.I have red one and this deal is tempting for blue,LOL.They are doing really good job with coating so in every day use should be fine.Here is one with ceramic shroud.
