Very much so the SR639 discount was really low. compared to what was being offered. anyways great Drop. But hoped to get in on the 637 instead.. go a 639 which is still a looker with a pop of yellow in colour.

krisvamWhile the discount seems absurd, I am sure there is a cost for the PVD coating and the different hand set the 639 has that accounts for the minimal "discount" for rubber in lieu of steel.

Theory1212Yep, well said. The rubber strap isn't the only difference. There is also a PVD Ion Plating coating on the bezel plus the non-similar paint (but I think this cost is near insignificant- it's just the fact that you have to change up production flow to include a second color.) These 3 things combined seemingly "balance out" the costs.
