I actually backed out of this drop. I'm almost certain this will return later. I have a few dress watches but no divers, unfortunately. I backed out because I'd promised myself that my next watch purchase would be a diver, probably a Steinhart OVM. So just need to save up a bit more, then I'll go with the Steinhart.
BTW that reminds me, Massdrop, is Steinhart on your radar at all? In that case I'll hold out on that purchase.
Also, does the community have any recommendations for dive watches 40mm or below? The Steinharts are 42mm.

Royalpig180Ah, the legendary Monster. Unfortunately, the Monster is a bit too... monstrous for my tastes. I personally prefer a bit more elegant take on the diver. I would have absolutely snagged the Delfin by Halios (even though it's considerably out of my budget - it's that beautiful) but I feel it'd be too big for my wrists at 43.5mm. Or maybe not? Hmmm.
I love the look of the Ocean One Vintage Military by Steinhart. That vintage style lume. Tasty.

LHSolutionsUff that dial is nice. And that watch is waaayy out of my budget. :D
Another bronze watch I love (not similar to this) is the Aevig Valkyr. This one is definitely on my radar - it's beautifully 39mm wide.
But a diver first. D:
I really like Aevig's diver too (the Huldra) but both the black and the blue variants are out of stock. :(

payodpandaTime to save up some money :) Before I joined Massdrop I was tempted to get the Valkyr bronze but could not decide which color dial to get and is a bit pricy LOL (i got a long wish list)... The HALIOS Delfin SS is beautiful!
You have good taste picking watches :P

LHSolutions@LHSolutions I'm veering toward the Valkyr bronze black or the bronze green. I definitely want the green bezel with the bronze case but I'm not sure about the dial. :(
The Delfin SS is beautiful indeed. The one pictured above is the PVD version though.
I spend too much time online drooling on watches. :(
@Royalpig180 That's what I've been thinking. But I'm just torn by the other options out there. There is the Halios Delfin which I showed, then there's the Halios Tropik which is a nice alternative take on the diver (with very minimalist styling), then other companies like Armida make divers which are the perfect size (they even have a 36mm diver) but I don't like the typography on their dials. D: I think if the Aevig Huldra (pictured in one of my previous posts) blue version were available I would've gone for it instantly - I feel it's the perfect mix of a retro-style watch, it has a nice blue face, kinda subdued, not shiny, and I love hexagons. But it isn't available. :(
Decisions, decisions.

payodpandaIf you want retro diver automatic in a budget you can look toward Vostok: http://www.ebay.com/sch/zenitar/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
I'm getting one before the end of the year at least to make my own opinion about it. It's so cheap you can't really go wrong.

DimbidimThanks for the suggestion! I have eyed Vostoks before (in particular the Amphibia / Komanderskie), but I completely forgot about them with time. Earlier I was looking at used vintage Vostok / Boctok watches only. I guess I could look at the Amphibia again with renewed interest. (And then I can get a cheap diver + Aevig Valkyr *-* )
Thank you!
