I wonder - I seem to remember the watch having 2 year massdrop warranty in the previous drop, now it's only 1 year. Is that correct?

desmondYeah, it was a 2 year warranty. I was thinking I would get one of these because they look good, but a year warranty doesn't show nearly as much faith in the product as before. I'd have much preferred the extra 5$ cost on the last drop and have a halfway decent warranty for an item this expensive.
