joeC63I believe the lowest price for the current drop has been reached. From what I understand, the drop price and any lower prices are pre-arranged with the supplier before the drop is made available. I am hoping for the day this changes and unexpected demand while the drop (that I have joined, of course) is happening allows them to lower the price even further. Hell, I would settle for loyalty program that unlocks this functionality!
MrJamesDuffyI want to understand what triggers the "reduction in price." I understand that lowest prices are pre-arranged before the drop starts (that makes sense.) Though, since "Massdrop" is a business, it would makes sense that the price-reduction would only get triggered when "NOBODY BUYS IN." If that's the case, my approach wouldve been totally different. I looked through the site and I couldn't find an explanation on how the price-reduction works. ANYONE? thanks
joeC63When each drop launches, it has a pre-set series of drop points. Each of those points (usually 2 or 3 of them) has a price and quantity attached to it. The price will be unlocked when that quantity is sold. Take a look at some new drops on the site and you'll see what I mean. Most drops sell much more than needed to unlock the lowest price. And no matter what, everyone will be paying the same price of the same item.
