I have a metal allergy and can't wear watches, anyone got any info on this?

iReptarrI've got nickel allergies and these watches don't cause me to break out in itchy bumps. Neither the watch itself or the buckle causes me any problems. That said, the leather strap on my black one has a 'bund' piece so the metal of the watch doesn't touch my wrist and wearing it for about a year now, the leather shows a silver ring, suggesting that the metal does 'come off' of the watch and into your skin. But it hasn't bothered me. Other watches I've had, the buckle has caused me to have a rash. You may be safe with one of these.

iReptarrThis watch uses 316L stainless steel which is an extremely common steel for jewelry and watches. The vast majority of watches on the market will use this exact steel. It's a mix of chromium, nickel and molybdenum. (I'm not sure what kind of allergy you have, but i'm guessing it's nickel?) So if you've had no issues with other steel watches, I would say that this watch is no different.
iReptarr@iReptarr If you put a NATO strap on it, you'll mostly be touching nylon. Most NATOs raise the watch up by a few mm, so even though you've got metal hanging off both sides of the strap, you'll be less likely to have it in constant contact.
