Judging from the photos, it looks like this is the version with the Malaysian movement, not the Japanese movement.
If that sort of thing matters to you, you can get this watch off Amazon for only $15 more. Buying the version sold directly by Amazon.com should get you the Japanese movement according to the reviews.

KovaLuuNo, there are no notable differences between the two (other than the Japanese version should say "Japan Movt" on it). Seiko is a reputable watch manufacturer with high-quality production processes, regardless of whether they're located in Malaysia or Japan. However, some people simply prefer the idea of having a watch that was manufactured in Japan. There isn't anything terribly meaningful about it.
