What? Do you really understand what waterproof and water resistance is? Do you know how to SCUBA dive? Are you kidding me?
NOTHING is waterproof. Hell, Rolex does not make waterproof watches, although they are rated to 12,000 ft. This watch is rated to be water resistant to 200m/666 ft. That means it will not take water on until it reaches at least 200m. If the watch (or you) are 200m underwater, you have many more issues to worry about than the watch not being water resistant.
Know what you're talking about before you make statements.

Haha! I do understand though. One watch in particular the Marine Master is consistently stated as Waterproof, quartz, and even solar!!!
But is in fact water resistant to 300 meters, as well as 8L35 automatic.
Provide a list of water "proof" watches and you will find they are all actually water resistant but the individual seller had a typo. Look hard enough and you will find the Monster listed as water proof as well ;-)

I've seen pressure test results for other Seiko divers where they were actually good to 400m. For everyday use this watch is effectively waterproof.

@SpiritOne you COULD argue that solar powered isn't completely wrong. I mean, sun is what gives plants energy, which then through the food chain provides the energy to move the automatic movement! :-)
