Weird...Just checked the status in my account and it says the order was "CANCELLED". I didn't cancel it nor did I receive any sort of notification/email that it had been cancelled. What's up?

Has anybody received theirs from this Drop? Still waiting. Haven't received shipping notification. Nothing.

This is what the watch looks like with full numbering rather than half hashes. It doesn't pop quite as much this way which I prefer over what's in the link https://www.seikowatches.com/global-en/products/seikopremier/ssa213j1

I think I prefer the SSA359 on Amazon for $315. Probably just my preference for a black face on leather right now. Great watches.

There's a lot to like here. It isn't gaudy. The blued hands kill me, in a good way. The movement is unique to Seiko, reliable and you get to look at it. The face is well balanced, the size isn't huge, and the nomenclature is kept to a minimum. What I don't like: 4 different text fonts, plus 3 numerical styles: Roman numerals, applique at random, and Arabic numbers printed on the subdial. It is like there's some sort of prejudice against certain Roman numerals or something. Also, interesting that at least one of the shots has been Photoshop'd to remove the "made in japan." That's something I've not seen before. I may buy one, or as someone else said, 2, but I'm being picky to be fair with my prior posts. :)

There's' a lot to like. I like to have unique movements from around the world. I have a Russian, 2 Swiss already, this would be my first Japanese mechanical.

TheTufnelThe 4R series of movements from Seiko is a great choice for a Japanese mechanical. It’s why almost every single microbrand out there uses one. Out of the 8 I have, only one is greater than +/- 10spd. That one is +30, which I don’t like, but still actually within seikos stated tolerances. That particular movement is also in a $50 invicta, so I almost don’t even want to count it.

The lug to lug width of the SSA379J1 is 18mm or 20mm? Amazon and other sites list theirs as 20mm instead of 18mm.

Not possible unless you remove some studs. Even so looks like thr strap is way too thick to fit. You may want to try other straps

discopotatoThose things don't exactly work that way. I'll leave it @Watchyoutalkingabout to explain the details.

Hmm. I like, but don’t like. Roman numerals alternating with indices. Open heart, but partially obscured. Sapphire crystal, but a tad too wide for a dress watch. 24 hour indicator, but no date. What an oddd, curious design. The black and white dials on the steel bracelet do have my attention.
